This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application My Sudtirol Transportation (“the App”), developed by DolomitiApp.

1. Overview

My Sudtirol Transportation enables users to save favourite bus stops and view publicly available public-transport arrival information.

2. Personal Data Collection

The developer does not collect, store, sell, or share personal data through the App. The App does not require users to create an account.

3. Favourite Stops and App Preferences

Favourite bus stops and related app preferences are stored only on the user’s device. They are not transmitted to or stored on servers operated by the developer.

Users can delete this locally stored information by removing favourite stops within the App, clearing the App’s data in the Android device settings, or uninstalling the App.

4. Public-Transport Arrival Information

The App retrieves public-transport arrival information from publicly available Südtirolmobil services and information available through suedtirolmobil.info.

When the App retrieves arrival information, network requests are made from the user’s device to the relevant public-transport service. The developer does not receive or store personal data from these requests. The provider of the public-transport service may process technical information, such as IP address, request details, and server logs, in accordance with its own privacy practices.

5. Sharing of Data

The developer does not share personal data with third parties because the App does not collect or store personal data.

6. Data Security

As favourite stops and preferences remain on the user’s device, the user controls their removal through the App or Android device settings. The App uses secure HTTPS connections where supported by the public transport information service.

7. Data Retention

The developer does not retain personal data. Locally stored favourite stops and preferences remain on the user’s device until the user deletes them, clears the App’s data, or uninstalls the App.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal data from children or any other users.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if the App’s features or data practices change. The current version will be published at this page, together with its effective date.
